Beacon Hill Awarded Great Place to Work for its 4th Consecutive Year

Beacon Hill at Eastgate recently earned the Great Place to Work® designation for the fourth consecutive year, the result of a process that recognizes employers who create an outstanding employee experience.

Led by Great Place to Work Institute and its senior care partner Activated Insights, the certification process involved surveying 100% of employees from across Beacon Hill’s continuum of care and evaluating more than 60 elements of team members’ experiences on the job. These included employee pride in the organization’s community impact, belief their work makes a difference and feeling their work has special meaning. Rankings are based on employees’ experiences, regardless of their role.

“Receiving this designation for the fourth year in a row is a true reflection of the dedication and professionalism our team brings every day,” Administrator and Operations Director April Schaab said. “We deeply value creating a welcoming environment where our team members can thrive and find true purpose in their roles. Our outstanding team is the heart of everything we do, and we couldn’t achieve our success without them.”

This year, 95% of employees said Beacon Hill is a great place to work – 31% higher than the typical U.S.-based company.

Some highlights from the employee survey include:

  • 97% of employees surveyed said when joining Beacon Hill, they felt welcomed.
  • 97% said their work has special meaning and that it’s not “just a job.”
  • 95% said Beacon Hill residents would rate the service delivered as “excellent.”
