The Best Seats in the House

Attending an event in our auditorium will remind you of concert halls around the country. Our service and events team select the best musicians, speakers, dancers, and other performing artists to appeal to the discerning tastes of the residents at Beacon Hill. We’ve had everyone from the MSU Jazz Orchestra, to a Russian flutist, a local theater troupe to university lectures. Our spacious auditorium can accommodate up to 150 people, and we frequently have special events that are open to the public

Educational opportunities abound at Beacon Hill. Try any one of our ongoing educational classes or stop by to watch a special guest speaker. Notable series include: CALL classes, Caroline Cook historical lectures, the Afendoulis Brinks Debate, Advocates for Senior Issues, Kelly Clark: Muslim-Christian-Jewish Reflections on Compassion and Peace, and many more.

Spaces at Beacon Hill

Beacon Hill offers several versatile programming and event spaces, many of which are available to reserve for private resident use. Inquire with our Service and Events Manager, Sarah Johnson below.


The garden-level space, located in the Vistas, is designed for casual conversation or small group gatherings. Convenient access to the Vistas patio with outdoor grill and seating.


The second floor of the Vistas is home to the Game Room; weekly, residents meet to play Cribbage, Mahjongg, Bridge, and more. The more the merrier! Everyone is invited.

On the third floor of the Vistas, our movie theater features plush recliners and plenty of seating. Residents enjoy watching movies and sports.


The Community Room, located directly across from the Bistro, is an activities room with a capacity of up to 75 people. From guest speakers to movies, resident socials to Saturday morning meetings, you will find the Community Room bustling with activity.


Twice a week, or more, you’ll find the Beacon Hill pool club meeting for billiards in the Club Room. All are welcome to join! Should you desire, the Club Room Dining Room, located directly across the way, is available to rent for private events.


Play with gusto! Our quiet, private music practice rooms located in the Auditorium are the perfect place to hone your craft.


Build, tinker, and carve away in our woodshop. For beginner woodworkers, try one of our resident-led workshops!
