Beacon Hill at Eastgate is pleased to announce the 10th Anniversary Season of Concerts on the Green.
Made possible by the Beacon Hill Foundation, Concerts on the Green has become a summer tradition bringing together residents, team members and neighbors for evenings of live music and delicious food in a welcoming outdoor setting.
This year’s lineup is:
Wednesday, June 10 – Whorled
A Grand Rapids acoustic trio blends various genres, including Irish, Japanese and bluegrass into a uniquely captivating musical experience.
Wednesday, July 8 – Lighting Matches
A Grand Rapids–based alternative rock band known for driving guitar riffs and rich, layered harmonies reminiscent of Fleetwood Mac. While rooted in classic influences, their sound pushes beyond traditional genre lines, creating something both familiar and refreshingly original.
Wednesday, August 12 – Mexicuba
Enjoy the vibrant Latin sounds of Mexicuba, a Grand Rapids–based ensemble led by pianist and producer Wity Zaldivar and featuring talented musicians from Mexico and Cuba. Blending traditional Latin rhythms with American influences, their dynamic set moves effortlessly from classic favorites to energetic, dance-worthy grooves—creating an authentic, high-energy experience that brings people to their feet.
Concerts begin at 7 p.m. on the Front Lawn of Beacon Hill at Eastgate and are free to attend. We invite you to bring your favorite lawn chair or picnic blanket, soak up the sounds of some of Grand Rapids’ favorite local musicians and enjoy a relaxed summer evening together making lasting memories.
More formal invitations and details will follow, but for now, we hope you’ll save the dates and plan to join us as we celebrate 10 years of music and community.
