This program combines new and renovated physical spaces with an updated selection of fitness and arts classes — as well as all of our residents’ current favorites — to support an active lifestyle and introduce more opportunities to explore.

That’s why we’ve introduced “Balance at Beacon HIll: Mind, Body, and Spirit.” This new program combines new and renovated physical spaces with an updated selection of fitness and arts classes — as well as all of our residents’ current favorites — to support our residents’ active lifestyle and introduce more opportunities to explore.

The expanded and renovated spaces include the Wellness Center, Creative Arts Studio and the salon. This will also include the addition of the Movement Studio, an open space for multiple types of exercise programs. Specialty classes designed to help residents improve and maintain balance, muscle tone, mobility, and cardiovascular health will be among the offerings.

Whether it is water aerobics, yoga or a high intensity weightlifting session, everyone should reward their body with movements they love each day. Daily exercise enriches both the mind and the body, and our programs are designed to bring joy, inspire, and encourage healthy living for all activity levels. We work to complete our community members’ wellbeing with programs designed to engage the intellect and spirit, from chaplaincy services, to innovative fitness classes, to world-class performances and lectures. We believe that a thriving community is built on a foundation of holistic wellbeing.

We offer a wide range of fitness programs to incorporate all of our residents’ exercise preferences. This includes an indoor swimming pool, whirlpool hot tub and fully-equipped fitness center plus group classes, activities and games. No matter what time of year, at Beacon Hill at Eastgate you can engage in a fun and healthy lifestyle.

Fitness Center

Beacon Hill’s state-of-the-art fitness center includes everything you need to achieve and maintain your fitness goals. Enjoy some light legwork at our mirror-lined ballet barre, or build muscle with our strength-conditioning equipment. From simple cardio to core muscle building, our fitness center is generously appointed to keep everyone healthy and active.

Aquatic Center

Our climate-controlled, indoor aquatic center includes a heated lap pool with easy, step-in entry, as well as an oversized whirlpool hot tub. Beacon Hill residents are able to enjoy a water workout or therapeutic soak no matter what the weather is outside. This center is especially beneficial for helping seniors with arthritis and other physical limitations stay active. Come on in, the water’s fine.

Indoor and outdoor fitness

Get started with our inviting group of indoor activities, such as seated exercise classes and Yo-lates (a combination of yoga and Pilates), then step outside for a walk along our reflection pond and seasonal outdoor lawn activities like badminton and corn hole. There’s something healthy here for everyone to participate in.

Spiritual Health

Beacon Hill is a faith-based community. We understand the significant contribution spiritual health provides to the overall wellness of our residents. Members of our community and their families find comfort and personal care through the services of two full-time chaplains who oversees various activities, including prayer services and regular devotional opportunities. There are also many possibilities for worship close-by at congregations in the Eastgate neighborhood.
