A New Place to Call Home

Announcing Assisted Living Renovations

You may remember the hair color commercial from the ‘70s: “You’re not getting older. You’re getting better.” It’s true, we are older, and we are certainly getting better about how and where we want to live. Beacon Hill at Eastgate opened in the 1950s to accommodate retired missionaries and pastors. Today, we care for almost 350 seniors in a spacious, beautiful environment just minutes from downtown Grand Rapids. We love to get to know everyone, hear their life stories and meet their families.

The words “assisted living,” “retirement community” and “memory care” can understandably cause some trepidation, as well as the thought of moving from the home you love. Everyone who works here is dedicated to making sure you enjoy:

  • a welcoming campus of beautiful gardens, easy paths and walkways
  • quiet areas to relax, read and reflect
  • updated, comfortable living suites with modern amenities
  • highly skilled, personalized nursing and state-of-the-art medical care
  • spacious dining rooms with fresh, delicious food made daily
  • a secure place to live, thrive and feel at home among friends

Beacon Hill is a compassionate, connected community of residents, caregivers and staff. Although we are Christian in our heritage, we welcome and support all traditions of faith and focus on helping you enjoy life at your pace.

A New Standard in Senior Living

We’ve recently renovated 5 private suites to make sure you truly feel at home. You’ll want to relax with a good book on a rainy afternoon, invite your family and friends for snacks and a game night, or enjoy your favorite cup of coffee that you made in your updated kitchenette. Spacious, new accessible bathrooms and walk-in showers reassure your peace of mind; and our staff is always just steps away and an emergency response system is always within reach.

Retirement Living that Feels More Like Resort Living

We consistently hear our residents and their families say Beacon Hill feels more like resort living than assisted living. Not only are their retirement needs met in one place, many people make a point of getting to know one another here. We are excited to see them enjoying daily social activities, shopping, cultural events, fine cuisine and even exploring the nearby neighborhoods. If you’re curious about what it’s like to be surrounded by a friendly community that cares for and about you, Beacon Hill will provide you with a refreshing view of senior living.

Let’s Make a Date

If you’re considering a move to a retirement community for a loved one or for yourself, we welcome you to schedule a tour of Beacon Hill at Eastgate. We look forward to meeting you.
